The Open WaveWaterbike Project launched

Our new project is aimed to develop a six-knots human powered boat with a length of only 2,6m using a high tech 'wave interference' hull

We are launching a new project aimed at developing a Open Waterbike with a speed of 12km/h at a length of only 2,6m overall.

We will begin the building of the first prototypes in March, 2012 under the direction of Andreas Schönwälder MSc, who is the designer of the boat and the manager of the project.

The hull is using high tech wave interference to reduce drag by 35% at design speed, according to the breakthrough design pioneered by Theodor Eder.

Our boat is faster than mine.
